RELEASE NOTES
Private Press 1.1.0
March 23, 2026
Library Health
- Private Press now identifies cloud-only, DRM-protected, incomplete, and missing tracks in your Apple Music library, so you know exactly what can be pressed
- When multiple copies of a track exist (e.g. local + cloud), Private Press automatically picks the highest-quality version for pressing
- Gallery tiles, repair rows, and the triage panel show at-a-glance health badges for albums with issues
- New Library Issues queue in the repair sidebar surfaces albums with file access problems
- One-click action to download cloud-only tracks from Apple Music so they can be pressed
- Streaming-only albums are hidden by default to reduce noise — toggle the Subscription chip to see them
Redesigned Detail Pane
- Single-album and batch views now share a consistent design with clear sections for artwork, metadata, and provenance
- Batch operations show progress directly in the detail pane instead of a floating overlay
- Provider buttons are always visible — no more expanding disclosure groups to reach search providers
Smart Rules Window
- Smart Rules moved from the Settings tab to its own dedicated window with a sidebar navigator
- Open it with Cmd+Option+R
Improvements
- Settings is now a proper resizable window instead of a tab group
- Fixed rare crashes during concurrent network operations on macOS 26
- Reduced unnecessary UI redraws in the main content view
